International Business Rounds on Cosmetics and Perfumes promoted an attractive business framework for the national products in the region

Twelve Argentine companies from the cosmetics and perfumes sector offered their products to Uruguayan and Colombian traders.

Buenos Aires, November 30th, 2020 - The Argentine Agency for Investments and International Trade (AAICI) jointly with the Argentine Foreign Ministry and the Argentine Chamber of Cosmetics and Perfumes (CAPA) organized the International Virtual Business Rounds on Cosmetics and Perfumes. Twelve Argentine companies participated and held business meetings with their counterparts from Uruguay and Colombia.

From November 24th to 26th, the national delegation with companies from Cordoba, Buenos Aires, and Ciudad Autonoma de Buenos Aires, did business with International de Belleza SAS (Colombia) and Uruquim (Uruguay), by offering a wide range of products from perfumes, makeup, creams, shampoos, and soaps.

The Argentine companies that participated are Aroquim, Biferdil, Biocosmetica Exel Argentina, Coalix, Color Pop Digit-al Art, Go Cands, Laboratorios Arrayanes, Laboratorios DIRAL, MFR Sampling, Onsibon, Semillas Cosmeticos, and UpaLaLa Bebes.

Latin America is the largest market for our national exports, and the main destinations are Chile, Paraguay, Uruguay, and Bolivia. The exports to these countries comprise half of the products that our country sells.

The companies from this sector tend to export more than one type of product which enables them to diversify their offering and expand their client portfolio. The main products commercialized abroad are insecticides and body deodorants, which represent 50% of the total exported.
